One Sip at a Time - 1/3 of the Por Amor Collection
I had my back to this corner. Then I heard the L coming.
Fifteen seconds, maybe less. No time to think about composition, no time for a second try. Three shots, and I didn't even know what I had until I looked back at them later.
This is the one with words on the train. They were sitting right there on the side of it, passing through the frame at the exact second I pressed the shutter. I didn't read them until I got home.
Two blurred strangers in the foreground, warm light glowing under the tracks, the L sliding through like it had somewhere better to be. Nobody planned any of it. That's why it works.
One shot. No retake.
This piece is for the person who takes things slow on purpose. The one who knows the good stuff shows up one sip at a time.
